Roma owners the Friedkins are expected to offer coach Jose Mourinho a new contract when his existing deal ends this summer. The Special One has reportedly made up his mind about staying with the capital club, and wants to continue his work with Roma for the immediate future.

Calciomercato.com now report that the clubs owners are prepared to offer him a new contract with certain limitations: The deal will be for only be for one more season, but will include an option for a second that can be activated only if he secures qualification to the Champions League.

The club are still working with a limited budget due to the Financial Fair Play parameters and and will need to appoint a new sporting director, given that Tiago Pinto is leaving at the end of January.
