Inter are set to renew the contract of coach Simone Inzaghi with an official announcement expected very soon. The 46-year-old has had a solid debut season with the Nerazzurri, and while he fell just short of winning Serie A, he guided the club to a Coppa Italia and SuperCoppa Italiana at the first time of asking.
Transfer journalist Nicolo Schira reports that the Inzaghi’s extension is a ‘done deal’ and ‘confirmed’.
According to Schira, Inzaghi will renew until 2024 with an option for a further season, should the club decide.
The official announcement is expected within the next 2-3 days.
