Juventus are closing in on a new deal for striker Arek Milik and look set to sign him outright this summer. The 29-year-old spent the season on loan in Turin, with the Bianconeri retaining an option to sign him outright for €7m. Juventus elected not to exercise their option, but were reportedly keen on hashing out a new deal for the Polish international.
Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio now reports that Milik is close to a permanent move to Juventus after all, and the move is set to be finalised in the coming days.
According to Di Marzio, Juve will still end up spending €7m to sign him outright, despite previous reports suggesting they would take him on loan for a season again.
The 29-year-old made 41 appearances in all competitions for the Bianconeri last season, scoring 9 goals in total.
