Both Angel Di Maria and Paul Pogba are ‘very very close’ to joining Juventus on free transfers, according to Nicolò Schira. The Bianconeri have been linked with both players in recent weeks but the suggestion is that talks have progressed very quickly with Juve management having met with Pogba’s representative earlier this week.
Writing on Twitter, Schira confirmed that Di Maria is just ‘one step away’ from joining Juventus as a free agent. His contract contract will run until 2023 with the player set to earn €7 million a year with talks ongoing to try and include the option for a second year.
When asked about Pogba, Schira replied that both he and Di Maria are ‘ very very close’ to joining Juventus on free transfers.
It would be a return to Turin for the Frenchman who spent a very successful four years in Turin, winning 4 Serie A titles in a row.
