Napoli have their sights on Lens defender Kevin Danso as a replacement for Kim Min-Jae, who is heading to Bayern Munich this summer. The South Korean international has all but agreed a move to the Bundesliga champions, leaving the Partenopei with a big hole to fill at the heart of their defence.

Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio writes that new Napoli boss Rudi Garcia has already made a request to club president: to acquire Danso for their backline next season.

The 24-yearold is considered one of the most promising defenders of his generation, writes Sky Sport Italia, endowed with an imposing physique, speed, a sense of position and tactical discipline. He is 1.90 metres tall, right-footed and a very versatile player: in addition to the role of central defender, he can also play as a full-back. He has a background as a midfielder and has an excellent flair for goal.

Alongside, the Partenopei could target Lille striker Jonathan David, should Victor Osimhen leave Naples this summer. Candian international David is considered the ideal attacking replacement by Garcia, who is already preparing his team for the new season.
