Milan are closing in on a deal for Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek and could complete his transfer in the coming days. The 27-year-old is almost certain to leave Stamford Bridge this summer having failed to find regular playing time in recent seasons.
Calciomercato journalist Daniele Longo claims that the Rossoneri are very close finalising a move for the Englishman, with the transfer fee expected to be around €15 million.
Milan are looking to make at least two new midfield signings and have been linked with Loftus-Cheek since the start of the summer. He’s expected to be one of the first transfers of their summer mercato, while winger Luka Romero is expected to sign on a free transfer.
Loftus-Cheek has been with Chelsea since 2004, coming through the clubs youth academy before graduating to the first team where he made 155 appearances over eight seasons.
