La Gazzetta dello Sport claim Charles De Ketelaere is set to leave Milan after just one season, with Aston Villa keen on signing him. The 22-year-old joined the Rossoneri last summer and went on to have a torrid first season in Serie A, struggling for form and appearing large from the bench.
La Gazzetta report that Milan are now open to offers for the young Belgian midfielder, provided they are in the region of €25 million.
The newspaper also outlines how Premier League side Aston Villa are considering De Ketelaere as a possible attacking option for the new campaign, and would be prepared to meet Milan’s valuation.
The starlet joined the Rossoneri from CDK in a €35 million move, but failed to find the back of the net in his debut season, despite 40 appearances across all competitions.
