Milan striker Divock Origi is being linked with a return to the Premier League, which could in turn free Gianluca Scamacca to return to Serie A. Origi arrived on a free transfer last summer but has failed to live up to expectations, and the Rossoneri are already listening to offers for the former Liverpool striker.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that West Ham are prepared to offer up to €10m to sign Origi, who has been left out of Milan’s squad for their USA pre-season tour.
If the Hammers complete a move for the Belgium international, it would free up Scamacca to make a return to Roma, reportedly his preferred destination.
Origi managed just two goals in the 2022-23 campaign, prompting Milan to look for new attacking options, including signing Christian Pulisic and Noah Okafor in recent weeks.
