Milan have officially confirmed that youngster Matteo Gabbia has joined La Liga side Villarreal for the 2023-24 season. A statement on the clubs official website confirmed the news:
“Milan can confirm that Matteo Gabbia has joined Villarreal CF on loan, until 30 June 2024. The Club would like to wish Matteo all the best for the coming season.”
Gabbia is a product of the Milan youth sector and made his debut for the Rossoneri in August 2017. He played 51 games in all competitions for Milan, scoring 1 goal.
