Almeria striker El-Bilal Toure is expected to complete his Atalanta medical later today, with La Dea beating Everton to his signing. The Bergamasci are in the market for at least one new striker, given that Rasmus Hojlund is almost certain to leave the club before the transfer window closes. The club have also sold Jeremie Boga to Nice in recent days, while Dusan Zapata’s future in Bergamo remains uncertain for the moment.
Sky Sport Italia report that Atalanta and La Liga side Almeria have reached an agreement on terms for El-Bilal Toure, despite Premier League club Everton pushing to sign him until the last minute.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Malian striker will be in Italy today to complete his club medical before putting pen to paper on a reported five-year deal.
The 21-year-old made the switch to Almeria last summer after coming through the Reim youth setup, and went on to score 7 goals in 21 appearances in his debut La Liga season.
