Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille are interested in a move for Milan attacking-midfielder Charles De Ketelaere. The Belgian only arrived in Milan last summer, but a disappointing season in Rossoneri colours has prompted the club to reconsider the investment made on the young talent.
The 22-year-old managed just one assist in 40 appearances across all competitions, failing to find the net and struggling to fit into the coach’s playing style.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that while Aston Villa and PSV have shown interest in De Ketelaere, no side has come forward with a bid, but that may change as Marseille are interested in the player.
Milan have reportedly set an asking price of €28m and would prefer to sell De Ketelaere, rather than send him out on loan for a season. The club may consider a loan deal that included an obligation to buy.
