Juventus have confirmed that youngster Nicolo Fagioli has agreed a contract extension with the club until 2028. The Bianconeri youngster had recently been in the spotlight after it was revealed that he had illegally bet on football matches, along with compatriots Sandro Tonali and Nicolo Zaniolo.
Fagioli is currently banned from football for seven months and is expected to return to the Juve first team next year.
Despite the ban, the club have been adamant that they see him as part of their future, and wanted to invest in him for the long-term.
A statement on the Juventus website confirmed the contract extension, with a statement reading:

The relationship with Nicolò therefore continues, with the midfielder having arrived at Juventus in 2015 as a 14-year-old, rising through the youth ranks until his senior debut in 2021.
