New Inter striker Marcus Thuram says he knew straight away that joining the Nerazzurri would be the best choice for him. The Frenchman arrived on a free transfer this summer, and speaking with Sky Sport Italia, he explained why Inter was always his first choice:
It’s a good time for me, I’m having a new experience, it’s a moment of discovering a new league for me, the team and the city, I’m trying to learn. I had already spoken to Ausilio two years ago, before hurting myself, and he had seen me as a central striker. This immediately made me realize that it would be the best choice for me”.
“Lautaro is a champion, one of the best attackers in the world, any player who plays with him can do well. I didn’t know that stadium, only my teammates had told me about it. It was a good game in a nice environment”.
“The title? We don’t play against just Juventus. It is a struggle between all the teams that do well and at the end of the season we will see”.
