Juventus extended the contract of Dean Huijsen before he left on loan for Roma, with the Dutch defender firmly in the Bianconeri’s plans for next season. Huijsen joined Roma on loan until the end of the current campaign, but a string of positive performances led to reports that Roma will make an effort to sign him outright before the season comes to an end.
Despite the interest, transfer journalist Nicolo Schira reports that Huiijsen is firmly in Juve’s plans for the 2024-25 season, as the club plan to bring him back and make him a part of the forst team.
Goal Italia’s Romeo Agresti reports that prior to leaving for Rome, Huijsen extended his contract with the Old Lady until 2028 and is expected to be called up for the Spanish U21 team.
The young defender moved to Spain at the age of five and joined Costa Unida CF and is expected to apply for Spanish citizenship through the “carta de naturaleza”, making him eligible for the Spanish national side.
