Juventus management have met with the agents of Spanish striker Alvaro Morata to discuss his future at the club. Morata is on loan at Juve until June and the Bianconeri retain an option to sign him for €35m.

Despite extending his loan in the summer for another year, the club seem unwilling to pay the full release clause. This comes after Morata said he would never leave Juventus if it were up to him.

Sky Sport report that a meeting has taken place between Juve management and Morata’s agent Juanma Lopez prior to their Champions League match against Villarreal. According to Sky, Morata’s future is still up in the air as Juve are looking to reduce the redemption fee.

The club have already spent €20m for the two year loan, while Morata’s contract at Atletico ends in June 2023.
