Roma have been presented with an opportunity involving former Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius, as reported by various sources. Currently under contract with Newcastle United, Karius has undergone loan spells in Turkey with Besiktas and in Germany with Union Berlin. However, he is soon set to become a free agent, prompting his representatives to explore potential destinations across Europe.

According to reports from Corriere dello Sport, Roma are among the clubs that have been approached by Karius’s agents. Despite this, it seems that Roma’s interest in the goalkeeper is lukewarm at best.

At present, Roma’s primary focus lies in securing the future of Mile Svilar as their preferred goalkeeper, particularly following the 24-year-old’s notable performances under the guidance of Daniele De Rossi. While Karius’s availability presents an intriguing prospect, Roma’s stance on the matter remains uncertain for now.
