Monza CEO Adriano Galliani confirmed the appointment of Alessandro Nesta as new head coach, and the impending transfer of Michele Di Gregorio. Galliani was speaking during a press conference to present a new wine label dedicated to him, and offered some important updates on Monza’s summer:
“Nesta will probably be Monza’s coach. He needs to sort things out with Reggiana, which is a friendly club. So, let’s keep a bottle chilled, but the situation should be resolved positively. I don’t want to jump the gun, but I think it won’t take much time. Nesta will very likely be our coach.”
“Di Gregorio? He will likely leave this summer, this is the plan.”
