Sportitalia report that Thiago Motta will sign his Juventus contract today, with an official announcement coming soon after. The Bianconeri have reportedly been tracking the coach since the turn of the year, and make their first enquiries in February.
Alfredo Pedulla now reports that the turning point is now at hand with a three-year contract ready to be signed. A meeting is currently taking place in Cascais, a location not far from Lisbon, where the coach has a home. Present at the meeting are both Cristiano Giuntoli and Alessandro Canovi, the coach’s agent.
Contrary to previous reports, Juventus had not planned any trips last week and had initially decided to secure the signature electronically. However, they later opted to meet the coach in person to discuss recent events, starting with the Szczesny situation and not overlooking other key matters, such as the potential midfield duo of Douglas Luiz and Koopmeiners.
