Alejandro Jimenez Sánchez, better known as Alex Jimenez, will continue to be a Milan player, and this time, his registration will be fully owned by the Rossoneri. After an important year on loan from Real Madrid, where he shuttled between the Primavera (youth) team and the first team, making his debut in both Serie A and the Coppa Italia for a total of 5 matches, the Spanish full-back has been signed outright by the Milan, who has chosen to invest in him once again.
Calciomercato report that the redemption fee agreed upon with Real Madrid last summer 2023 was set at €5 million, and today, that amount has been paid to Los Merengues, who have , however, retained the option to buy back the left-back’s registration at higher figures.
Jimenez has signed a four-year contract with Milan, expiring on June 30, 2028, and will be one of the pillars of the Under-23 team that the Rossoneri club will field in Serie C next season, with Daniele Bonera as the head coach and under the supervision of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is strongly pushing for this project.
