Adrien Rabiot, the French midfielder, has addressed his future following France’s 1-0 victory over Belgium in the Euro 2024 round of 16. As of July 1st, Rabiot is officially a free agent, with his contract at Juventus having expired at the end of June.
When asked about his future plans, Rabiot remained coy, stating: “I don’t know what will happen, but I don’t want to talk about it. What can I say to the fans? I think they understand that I’m focused on the Euros with my national team, and we’ll see what happens after. My focus is 100% here, but of course, I’m always in contact with the club.”
The 29-year-old midfielder has been offered a two-year extension by Juventus worth €7.5 million plus bonuses, but he has yet to agree to the terms. Juventus are growing increasingly impatient with the situation, as they await a response from Rabiot and his mother, who also acts as his agent.
New Juventus manager Thiago Motta has expressed his desire to keep Rabiot at the club, viewing him as a key part of his project in Turin. However, Rabiot’s future remains uncertain, with speculation linking him to other clubs, including Manchester United.
For now, Rabiot’s priority is clear – he is fully committed to France’s Euro 2024 campaign. Any decisions regarding his club future will likely be made after the tournament concludes.
