Jadon Sancho is the cherry on top of Juventus’ transfer market cake, meticulously prepared by sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli. Following Thiago Motta’s appointment as manager, Giuntoli has brought eight new faces to Turin, including Di Gregorio in goal, Cabal and Kalulu in defence, Douglas Luiz, Thuram, and Koopmeiners in midfield, and Nico Gonzalez and Francisco Conceiçao in attack. Now, he’s working to complete the roster with another offensive winger.

Initial Offer

According to Calciomercato, Juventus have presented Manchester United with an initial offer of approximately €6 million total, covering a dry loan for ten months until June 30, 2025, and the player’s wages. Sancho currently earns around €20 million gross per year and has already given his approval to the Bianconeri for a move to Italy.

Negotiation Gap

At present, there’s a significant distance between Juventus and Manchester United’s positions, and as time passes, the likelihood of seeing the English winger in black and white diminishes. To increase the offer, Giuntoli needs to make at least one more sale beyond those already completed (Chiesa to Liverpool, De Sciglio to Empoli, Hasa to Frosinone, Nonge to Anderlecht, and Facundo Gonzalez to Feyenoord). The candidates for departure are Portuguese defender Tiago Djaló (back on Roma’s radar), Brazilian midfielder Arthur Melo (linked to Napoli), and Serbian left-winger Filip Kostic.

Chelsea’s Interest

Sancho, who returned from a loan spell at Borussia Dortmund where he reached the Champions League final, is under contract with Manchester United until June 2026, with the Red Devils holding an option to extend for another season. Chelsea are also interested in the player, proposing a swap deal involving fellow Englishman Raheem Sterling and continuing discussions with United.
