Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna has provided an update on the contract situation of star winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Speaking to the media before Napoli’s match against Como, Manna emphasized that there is no rush to finalize a new deal with the Georgian international.
“The situation with Kvara is very clear: he has three years left on his contract. We are talking, but we have no stress at this moment. We are focused on many other things. We will calmly discuss with him and his agent, but without anxiety,” Manna explained.
Kvaratskhelia, whose current contract runs until June 2027, has been a key player for Napoli since joining the club. His impressive performances have attracted interest from other clubs, but Napoli remains confident in their position.
Manna also took the opportunity to discuss Napoli’s recent signing, Scott McTominay. “Scott is an important player. We didn’t discover him; he was at Manchester United. It wasn’t easy to sign him, but his willingness was decisive. We were ready to make it happen. We’re happy to have him, and we hope for the best,” he stated.
