The Curva Sud, Milan’s passionate fan group, displayed banners and chanted slogans directed at club ownership. One banner read, “Incompetent directors, a club without ambition. You are unworthy of our history,” while another stated, “Players without desire and dignity, you are a reflection of this ownership.” This protest was peaceful but highlighted the growing discontent over a season that has fallen short of expectations.
As fans awaited the arrival of players, coach Paulo Fonseca, and club executives, they made their feelings known with chants against the management. The atmosphere was marked by indifference towards Fonseca, while some players received mixed reactions. Applause greeted newcomers such as Francesco Camarda and established players like Christian Pulisic and Mike Maignan.
