Initially, Acerbi seemed favored to stay due to his contract extension until 2026. However, his injury issues and disagreements with the medical staff over recovery management have caused Inter to reconsider. The club may now opt to pay a €500,000 penalty to terminate Acerbi’s contract in June 2025, reverting to the original plan before last March’s hasty renewal.
Calciomercato report on potential new signings, including 18-year-old Juma Bah from Valladolid who has recently been linked with Inter. However, contrary to reports, the club’s interest in Bah is not as strong as suggested.
