Alisha Lehmann has posted a heartwarming message to Juventus Women’s team-mate Sara Gama after the Bianconere celebrated their latest Serie A title.
Lehmann paid tribute to Gama as the legendary star gets set to hang up her boots at the end of the 2024-25 soccer season.
“All the things she’s done for women’s football, and what a player she’s been. So much respect for you and it was a pleasure I could play with you on the field,” Lehmann said via Instagram.
How Many Trophies Has Alisha Lehmann Won?
Interestingly, the 2024-25 Serie A success was the first club trophy Alisha Lehmann has won in her career. The Swiss international managed to do so in her maiden season in Italy.
During her time with West Ham, Lehmann was an FA Cup finalist in the 2018-19 campaign. She also finished as a runner-up in the UEFA Women’s Under-17 Championship in 2015 with Switzerland.
However, the 26-year-old global star is likely to win many more trophies with Juve Women owing to their continued dominance in Italy’s elite soccer division.
They have won six of the first eight titles and will be red hot favorites to retain their crown in 2025-26. On Saturday, Lehmann is expected to be part of the XI which faces Roma in the Italian Women’s Cup final.
Is Alisha Lehmann In A Relationship?
Earlier this month, it was reported that Douglas Luiz and Alisha Lehmann had split up. The pair entered into a relationship in June 2024.
Luiz and Lehmann whilst playing for Aston Villa and both made transfers to Juventus last summer. However, they decided to separate as the stars eyed different soccer futures.
Lehmann is very much settled in Turin whereas Luiz is not. The Brazil international has struggled with injuries and therefore game time on the field.
Luiz was a notable absentee when Lehmann’s Juve actually won the title at the end of April. It’s understood that Luiz could join Nottingham Forest when the transfer window opens on June 1.
