Long-time admirers Juventus may face competition for Dan Ndoye — thought to be one of their chief targets this summer — with Manchester United also renewing their interest.
Who is Dan Ndoye?
Another season pushing Italy’s heavyweights for a European spot, and clinching a first Coppa Italia in half a century, has put some of Bologna’s prized assets firmly in the shop window.
Whether I Rossoblu will be able to hold onto their most important players remains to be seen, particularly if Roma and AC Milan target Vincenzo Italiano departs.
Although the club have offered Italiano fresh terms and bumper new contract, the lure of Italy’s more illustrious clubs is strong for an aspirational manager, and his potential departure could spark other exits at Bologna.
Not least Dan Ndoye, who may also struggle to resist interest from elsewhere in Serie A.
Having long been the subject of interest from Juventus, Ndoye also emerged as a target for Napoli in January, although their formal approach was quickly rebuffed by Bologna.
Ndoye’s stock has of course risen throughout the season after continuing to impress for Bologna, and suitors further afield — notably in the Premier League — have floated their renewed interest.

Dan Ndoye Manchester United Rumours Begin to Surface Ahead of Summer Window
Manchester United will look to contend with Italian interest in what is expected to be a summer of heavy investment, following their lowest ever Premier League finish.
United scouts have done their due diligence on Ndoye already, having had a tentative approach shunned by Bologna last summer after impressing for Switzerland at Euro 2024.
It is interesting to note that Ndoye has previously played for two out of three INEOS-backed clubs in Nice and Lausanne, so that may hand United an advantage in negotiations.
Bologna’s reluctance to entertain offers last summer is unlikely to have changed, although recent windows have highlighted their willingness to let key players go for the right price.
Dan Ndoye’s Contract Includes an Option to Extend Until 2028
Dan Ndoye’s Bologna contract is due to expire in the summer of 2027, so there is no urgency to sell one of their most effective forwards this summer.
Bologna retain the option to automatically extend this by 12 months, and could do so in order to maximise their transfer fee.
Manchester United’s initial approach last summer was with the knowledge that Ndoye could be available for as little as €30 million, but Ndoye’s stellar season, combined with several years remaining on his contract, means they will likely be forced to pay upwards of €40m.
Dan Ndoye Stats 2024/25
Ndoye is commanding plenty of interest this summer, and for good reason.
Right wingers available for a sensible price are in short supply across Europe, and the 24-year-old still holds plenty of potential to improve on his solid returns this season.
With one game left to add to his tally, he has netted eight goals along with four assists, including Bologna’s winning goal in the Coppa Italia final.
