Gianluigi Buffon is unsure whether Antonio Conte will return to Juventus at the end of the season.
The Italy and Bianconeri legend was speaking to ANSA when he shared his views about the reports that Conte is ready to go back to Turin.
“It’s normal for coaches like him to be linked with prestigious clubs. But it’s not as straightforward as people are making it seem,” Buffon said.
“Antonio hasn’t revealed anything and is only focused on completing the mission with Napoli.”
According to the best Serie A betting sites, Conte’s side are favorites to win the 2024-25 title. The Azzurri will face 14th-ranked Cagliari at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Friday.

Interestingly, Conte can become the first boss in Serie A history to win Italy’s elite soccer division with three different clubs. He has already tasted glory with Juventus and Inter.
During his time as a soccer player, Conte won five league titles. All of which came at Juve. His first came in the 1994-95 season with his last in 2002-03.
What Trophies Did Antonio Conte Win At Juventus?

Will Igor Tudor Quit Juventus?
Igor Tudor’s future at Juventus remains unclear owing to a number of factors. The first being whether he can lead the Old Lady to 4th in the rankings which would secure Champions League soccer.
The second is regarding Juve’s attempts to lure Antonio Conte back to Turin for 2025-26. However, that will likely only suffice if the Bianconeri decide to bin off Tudor.
His contract only runs until the end of June and many view the former Croatia star as a temporary solution until Conte or another strong contender will step into the dugout.
Antonio Conte’s Napoli Contract
Antonio Conte’s Napoli contract still has a full two seasons to run. Conte penned a three-year deal until 2027 when he joined the Azzurri last summer.
However, that hasn’t put off the likes of Juventus and even Milan from pursuing the 55-year-old. However, the Rossoneri aren’t likely to attract Conte owing to the fact they won’t play European soccer next season.
With Conte on the verge of the Serie A title, his future in Naples is still debatable. It’s reported that he has a strained relationship with the Azzurri’s hierarchy.
