Yeremay Hernandez and Real Madrid Prospects Among Cesc Fabregas’ Transfer Targets for Como

Start

Como are not wasting time on strengthening their squad ahead of next season, with Cesc Fabregas’ transfer targets catching the attention of top European sides.

Yeremay Hernandez Transfer News

One of Como’s top targets is Yeremay Hernandez, a 22-year-old winger currently at Deportivo La Coruna. His explosive dribbling and standout performances in the Spanish second tier have put him on the radar of Chelsea and Arsenal, but it’s Como who appear ready to trigger his €30 million release clause.

Fabregas all but confirmed the club’s pursuit: “We are following Yeremay, yes… he’s an excellent player.” With interest from bigger clubs looming, Como aim to act swiftly to secure their top target.

Who Does Fabregas Want to Sign?

As well as Hernandez, Como are also looking to extend their Real Madrid connection beyond last summer’s signing of Nico Paz. Spanish reports suggest they’re monitoring several Castilla talents: striker Gonzalo Garcia, center-back Jacobo Ramon, and midfielder Chema Andres.

Fabregas confirmed the club’s strong relationship with Madrid: “We have an excellent rapport with them, and we are very interested in players on their team. We’ve made it clear that they can get minutes here.”

While Madrid are reportedly considering triggering Nico Paz’s buy-back clause, Como remain confident for now that the Argentine will stay.

Fabregas Comments on the Como Project

Speaking before Como’s final game of the season against Inter, Fabregas highlighted his team’s ambitions and the value of veteran leadership.

Despite Inter’s strength, Fabregas said, “The goal is always to do everything possible to win. Inter are strong, but we’ll try to cause problems.”

The match has some emotional weight too, with it being the final appearances of two experienced squad figures: Pepe Reina and Alessio Iovine. Fabregas praised both for their contributions on and off the pitch.

“Reina deserves to play; he has given me so much, on and off the pitch. Iovine is always positive,” he said. “They are important guys for me, the club, and their teammates.”

By creating a strong locker room culture and playing an expansive brand of football, Fabregas is setting a tone for what Como aims to become.

However, against Inter, they will have their work cut out. The best Serie A betting sites currently have them priced at 4/1 to win the game, with Simone Inzaghi’s side being strong favorites at 3/5.

Como Transfer Strategy

From signing young La Liga talents to leveraging relationships with top European clubs, Como’s transfer strategy under Fabregas is becoming clear: invest in high-upside youth and provide them a platform to develop in Serie A.

While Serie A safety may have been the short-term goal, the long-term vision appears much more ambitious.
