The latest Theo Hernandez transfer news has revealed that the Milan star could move to Juventus as part of a swap deal involving Dusan Vlahovic.
Much speculation has domianted the opening weeks of the 2025 summer transfer window regarding the futures of both Hernandez and Vlahovic. Now, it appears a suitable solution could be thrashed out to suit both Serie A stars.
The Rossoneri full-back looks set to leave the San Siro this summer. A number of English clubs have shown interest alongside Spain’s Atletico Madrid as well as Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal.
Vlahovic has also generated a lot of interest over the last few months. Similar to Hernandez, the Serbian striker has a list of admirers from all over Europe and beyond.
Theo Hernandez Transfer News
As reported by FootItalia last week, Theo Hernandez rejects Al-Hilal transfer as the Milan defender wishes to remain playing soccer in Europe.
The Rossoneri were offered around €30–35million but Hernendez is adamant that a move to the Saudi Pro League is not a viable option for him or his family.
With just 12 months to go on his contract, Max Allegri’s side needs to seek a quick resolution. Interestingly, one could come in the way of Serie A rivals Juventus.
The Old Lady will propose a sensational swap deal that would see wantaway star Dusan Vlahovic move to the San Siro with Hernandez going to the Allianz Stadium.
Will Dusan Vlahovic Sign For Milan?
Reports earlier this summer suggested that Juventus were ready to ‘cut their losses’ on Dusan Vlahovic with the Serbian forward being allowed to leave for around €30m.
Similar to Theo Hernandez, Vlahovic also has 12 months to run on his current deal. Milan was understood to be wanting approximately €25m for Hernandez so a straight swap is a relistic possibilty.
Both clubs certainly don’t want to lose Hernandez and Vlahovic for nothing next summer. Therefore, the two foes can potentially iron out a deal to satisfy everyone involved.
The Serie A giants perhaps won’t want to see their star players representing another side in Italy’s top flight. However, it may be the only avenue to explore before the end of the window.
Why Theo Hernandez Won’t Be Moving To Atletico
Over the weekend, the safest online betting sites trimmed the odds on Theo Hernandez to move to Atletico. However, a move back to Madrid has now been quashed.
That is reportedly down to two stern factors. Diego Simeone’s side were unwilling to meet Milan’s valuation of Hernandez. The Argentine head coach doesn’t want to part with €25m for a player whose contract only has a year to run.
The second is down to the Atleti supporters. Hernandez actually represented the Atleti youth academy before moving to city rivals Real Madrid for €24m in 2017.
Therefore, the 27-year-old France international is widely considered as a traitor. It appears that Simeone is keeping tabs on Liverpool’s Andy Robertson to play left-back in 2025-26.
