Arsenal’s successful pursuit of Noni Madueke means they are now prepared to sanction sales, according to the latest Leandro Trossard transfer news. AC Milan, who have already enquired about the Belgian’s availability, are among the interested parties.
Arsenal Open to Offers For Leandro Trossard
Arsenal have already managed to trim a significant chunk of their wage bill this summer, with six players heading for the exit.
However, just two of those commanded a transfer fee, which only combined for a total of $9.3 million.
It is no secret that the Gunners will be forced into selling at least one important first team asset, in order to fuel one of their most expensive summer windows ever.
The arrival of Noni Madueke from Chelsea for a total of $70m may have come as a surprise to some, given they have also been strongly linked with Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze, and Sporting’s highly sought-after Victor Gyokeres.
Madueke’s signing likely signals the end for at least one of Arsenal’s forwards, and rumors of Leandro Trossard’s departure — which were swirling before the window even began — have only intensified.
Leandro Trossard Transfer News Reveals AC Milan Interest
A trio of Serie A clubs, including AC Milan, Napoli and Juventus, are all said to have contacted Arsenal regarding Trossard’s future back in May.
However, FootItalia understands it is Milan who are now ready to race ahead to sign the 30-year-old, with Napoli now pursuing other interests, namely agreeing terms with PSV’s Noa Lang. Juve are also not said to be actively seeing through their initial interest.
Trossard, whose contract expires at the end of next season, would likely command a fee of $27m, which Milan view as an attractive budget option, given his output in recent seasons.
The Belgian has 49 goal involvements in 124 appearances for Arsenal, with many of those coming as a substitute.
If Trossard does go, he will have had 49 G+As in his 2 & 1/2 year Arsenal career
A G+A every 138 mins in Arsenal career. Very impressive
A great rotational player who has repaid his fee & wage and some for me

New manager Max Allegri is keen to add both experience and proven goalscoring output to a forward line that often appeared disjointed last season.
Milan will face competition from Jose Mourinho’s Fernabahce, however, with live betting sites pegging the Turkish side as the club best positioned for his signature.
They have already tabled a three-year proposal, and are ready to match Arsenal’s $27m valuation.
