Gian Piero Gasperini will begin his tenure as Roma manager next season, but who will the Giallorossi play during their 2025/26 pre-season tour?
Who Will Roma Play On 2025/26 Pre-Season Tour?
The Serie A giants returned to training on July 13th, as Gian Piero Gasperini prepares his Roma squad for the first time after taking the reins in the Italian capital.
After nine-years in Bergamo, Gasperini decided to end his time as Atalanta manager, overseeing 439 games and winning the Europa League in 2024.
Before Roma kick-off their Serie A campaign against Bologna on August 23rd, the Giallorossi will compete in four pre-season fixtures to prepare for next season.
The Italian side will begin their tour with a trip to Germany, as they face Kaiserslautern on July 26th, being the first chance to see new signings like Neil El Aynaoui and Evan Ferguson, who is looking to reignite his career on loan in Rome.
Following this clash, the Giallorossi will travel to France on August 2nd, facing RC Lens in the opening edition of the Trophee 1906, which was formed to acknowledge the 120th anniversary of the Ligue 1 side.
Just four-days later the Serie A giants will be back in action and Roma will enter a two-game run in the United Kingdom, facing Aston Villa on August 6th and end their pre-season run in the new home-ground of Everton on August 9th.

Can You Watch Roma Pre-Season Tour?
Roma fans will be hoping to catch a glimpse of their team ahead of the upcoming 2025/26 season, as Gasperini looks to implement his renowned tactics straight away.
Unfortunately, the four pre-season matches will not be available on terrestrial television, however, Roma offer their own streaming service called RomaTV+.
This allows supporters to watch the latest interviews, training clips and historic games, while also broadcasting all of the Italian sides’ matches ahead of next season.
The Giallorossi will be looking to hit the ground running next season, after finishing fifth in the league last season and putting in some underwhelming performances in 2025.
Winning the league title has been an unattainable task for Roma in recent years, last getting their hands on the trophy in 2001 and running through multiple managers since.
Fortunately, the Rome-based side did qualify for the Europa League last season and will be hoping to improve on their European performance from 2024/25 – being eliminated by Athletic Club in the Ro16.
