The latest Ardon Jashari injury update has revealed the Milan midfielder will miss the MD2 Serie A clash against Lecce.
Jashari is one of seven new faces at the San Siro having been signed from Club Brugge for €36million earlier this summer.
His transfer is still the most expensive in Italy’s elite soccer division this window. Last week, the Swiss star made his Rossoneri league debut after coming off the bench to replace Luka Modric against Cremonese.

Ardon Jashari Injury Update
On Thursday (August 28), Milan boss Max Allegri confirmed that Ardon Jashari wouldn’t be available to face Lecce at the Via Del Mare.
“This morning, he got hurt in a collision with Gimenez and will be out against Lecce. He’s a player who can play in front of the defence or in a two-man midfield,” the head coach said during his pre-match press conference.
With Rafael Leao’s injury also set to rule the Portuguese star out, Allegri will have to reshuffle his pack. Leao actually missed the shock Cremonese defeat and was replaced by Santiago Gimenez.
It’s likely that the Mexican forward will start up top alongside Christian Pulisic. From Jashari’s perspective, he was due to make his full competitive Serie A debut.
However, Allegri will potentiality start with a midfield three of Luka Modric, Youssouf Fofana and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. Summer signing Samuele Ricci is also pushing hard to make the XI.
What Is Ardon Jashari’s Best Position?
As confirmed by Max Allegri, summer signing Ardon Jashari can play as a defensive midfielder or in a two-man midfield. Nonetheless, what is the 23-year-old’s best position?
Many consider the Switzerland international’s best position as a deep-lying playmaker. As Allegri said, Jashari can also play as a defensive midfielder.
His versatility in the middle of the field will be very useful to Milan this season. Naturally, it will take some time for the 23-year-old to settle into Serie A.
His injury has delayed his start but according to reports, Jashari shouldn’t be out for too long. He will undergo tests in the next 24-48 hours to determine the full extent of the problem.
Jashari arrived in Italy with a glowing reputation. Not only was he part of the Club Brugge side who won the Belgian Cup in 2024-25, he was also named as the Player and Young Player of the Year for the Belgian Pro League.
