The latest Dusan Vlahovic transfer news has revealed that Inter Milan are aiming to snare the Juventus star on a free transfer next summer.

Inter have endured a relatively quiet transfer period this term compared to their rivals. New head coach Cristian Chivu only welcomed six new players to the San Siro.

Although Marcus Thuram and Lautaro Martinez are the first choice forwards, the Nerazzurri only drafted one new attacker in the window.

That of course, was Ange-Yoan Bonny. The France Under 21 international joined for a reported fee of €23million from Carlos Cuesta’s Parma.

Dusan Vlahovic Transfer News

With his time in Turin seemingly up earlier this summer, a new Dusan Vlahovic Juventus contract has been mooted. That in itself is a huge surprise considering it looked like the Serbian was going to wave goodbye to the Old Lady faithful.

However, that could still be the case if Inter Milan gets their way. According to Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Fabiana Della Valle, the Nerazzurri have reached out to the Serbian’s entourage about moving to the San Siro on a free.

Vlahovic’s contract expires next June and naturally, the Bianconeri don’t want to lose the Serbian striker for nothing. Especially after to his start to the season and to a Serie A rival.

Vlahovic has scored in both league games this term and remains an important part of Igor Tudor’s roster. His fast start to the 2025-26 season is a key reminder of how potent he is in front of goal.

What Other Clubs Were Interested In Dusan Vlahovic?

All summer long, a whole host of clubs were interested. Arsenal were keen on Dusan Vlahovic but opted to fork out for Viktor Gyokeres instead.

Manchester United were also named as a possible destination but the Red Devils spent big on Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbuemo and Matheus Cunha.

Closer to home, AC Milan were strongly linked with Vlahovic. However, a deal couldn’t be agreed with Juventus. Napoli were also rumored but signed Rasmus Hojlund as a replacement for the crocked Romelu Lukaku.

Other potential suitors across Europe included Newcastle, Aston Villa, Liverpool, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Fenerbahce.

What Did Fabiana Della Valle Say About Dusan Vlahovic?

Sports journalist Fabiana Della Valle raised a number of interesting points regarding Dusan Vlahovic’s future on her YouTube channel.

He wants to leave in June, getting a €10m signing bonus and a €10m fixed salary. His target is to move to the Premier League,” Della Valle claimed.

A possible scenario would see him stay in Italy. Over the last few months, there were contacts with Milan, who wanted to sign him right away, and Inter, who are considering signing him on a free transfer at the end of his contract.

Marotta has already sounded out the player’s availability with his entourage.”

One thing that is for certain is that it appears that Vlahovic’s future will not be sorted any time soon. A Premier League move seems to be the aim.

However, staying in Italy and signing for Inter Milan is also a viable option. Whatever happens, Juventus look like they will be losing out financially for their Serbian striker.
