According to the latest Como transfer news, Gonzalo Garcia has emerged as a top winter target for the Lariani

If Garcia does move to the Sinigaglia, he will be the third Los Blancos star to make the switch under the guidance of Cesc Fabregas after Nico Paz and Jacobo Ramon.

The Spanish head coach is keen to bring his compatriot in to boost his attacking options. Garcia has proven his worth in Real’s youth team but is struggling for minutes at the Bernabeu.

Como Transfer News Reveals Gonzalo Garcia Interest

On October 2, reports from Real Madrid Confidencial revealed that Como are keeping tabs on Gonzalo Garcia. The 21-year-old could potentially switch Spain for Italy in January.

The Lariani has been impressed with Garcia’s development and believe he could vastly improve under the stewardship of Cesc Fabregas.

In the summer, Garcia shined at the Club World Cup which accelerated Fabregas’ admiration for the 21-year-old forward. All in all, Garcia scored an impressive four goals in six appearances.

He has also broken the scoring record for Real’s youth team but under head coach Xabi Alonso, has struggled to nail down a regular spot in the first team.

How Much Would Gonzalo Garcia Cost?

According to TransferMarkt, Gonzalo Garcia is valued at €8million. He still has five years remaining on his current deal at the Bernabeu.

Therefore, a deal could likely be agreed for approximately €15m. However, Real Madrid may allow Garcia to leave if a buy-back option can be included.

That would mirror what Como attacking midfielder Nico Paz has in place. The Argentine has excelled at the Sinigaglia and is widely tipped to return to Spain in the summer.

The relationship between the clubs is very healthy so it’s extremely likely that if a deal can be struck, Garcia would jump at the chance to showcase his abilities in Serie A.

Gonzalo Garcia Stats In 2025-26

Gonzalo Garcia has made a total of six appearances in all competitions for Real Madrid this season. The 21-year-old is yet to find the back of the net but did provide an assist in the UCL against Kairat.

Four of Garcia’s five LaLiga appearances have come from the bench whereby he has racked up just 91 minutes of action. He managed a further 10 minutes in the recent 5-0 win in the Champions League.

Naturally, competition for a starting berth at Real is high. Hence why Cesc Fabregas is willing to bring him to Como whereby he can be afforded more game time.
