Juventus Keeping Tabs On Raphael Guerreiro – Would Versatile Star Prove A Hit In Turin?

The latest Raphael Guerreiro transfer news has revealed that Juventus are considering a January bid for the Bayern star. 

Igor Tudor is a keen admirer of Guerreiro. The Juve head coach believes his versatility could prove hugely beneficial for the second-half of the campaign.

Guerreiro is expected to leave the Bundesliga giants in January. The 31-year-old has made all four of his league appearances from the bench and is not viewed as a regular starter under Vincent Kompany.

Simultaneously, the two clubs could potentially negotiate a deal for Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic. The Bianconeri could let Vlahovic quit for €30million as his contract also expires next summer.

However, if both deals are struck in January, they will be done so completely separately. Igor Tudor believes Guerreiro will perfectly complement his preferred 3-4-2-1 lineup.

The Portuguese international can operate as a left-back, a left wing-back or even in midfield. That would provide Tudor with plenty of options to utilize Guerreiro and also creates peace of mind as he has extra cover if injuries occur.

Raphael Guerreiro – who turns 32 in December – has a current value of €8m. That is according to TransferMarket with the latest update occurring in June of this year.

Therefore, it’s likely that Juventus could strike a deal with Bayern in the region of €4-5m. It’s very unlikely that Guerreiro will be offered new terms in Munich so cashing in makes perfect sense from the Bavarians perspective.

Furthermore, Guerreiro will be afforded more game time in Turin during the second-half of 2025-26. With that in mind, he would have a better chance of making the Portugal squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Last year, Guerreiro missed out on the European Championship owing to an ankle injury. Now that he is entering his twilight years, Guerreiro will be desperate to play more for club and country before his career starts winding down.
