The Serie A predictions for matchday 8 have landed and the tide is set to turn for Antonio Conte and his Napoli side.

According to FootItalia’s AI supercomputer, the champions will return to winning ways as they welcome title rivals Inter Milan to the Maradona Stadium.

Conte’s men have endured a torrid week after a surprise loss against Torino was followed up by a 6-2 Champions League mauling against PSV Eindhoven.

Elsewhere, the next Juventus manager may be strongly considered as Igor Tudor oversees another stalemate. AC Milan are set to keep top spot and there’s also forecasted wins for Como and Roma.

Matchday 8 Serie A Predictions

Ever since the 2025-26 Serie A fixtures were announced, the Napoli vs Inter Milan clash has been eagerly anticipated by supporters. Especially as the two giants entertained a thrilling title battle at the back end of last season.

Gli Azzurri came out on top after Inter slipped up in the run-in. Now, Antonio Conte is set to get one over the Nerazzuri once again. Which will provide the perfect remedy after their last two results.

However, the predicted victory won’t be enough to see the champions return to the summit. That honor will be held by AC Milan – who are set to cruise to victory against lowly Pisa.

Perhaps the biggest talking point of the weekend will come from the fallout of Juventus’ stalemate against Lazio. That has proven to be head coach Igor Tudor’s downfall this season and another draw may not be able to save his bacon.

  • 🇮🇹 AC Milan 3-0 Pisa 🇮🇹
  • 🇮🇹 Udinese 1-1 Lecce 🇮🇹
  • 🇮🇹 Parma 1-2 Como 🇮🇹
  • 🇮🇹 Napoli 2-1 Inter Milan 🇮🇹
  • 🇮🇹 Cremonese 0-2 Atalanta 🇮🇹
  • 🇮🇹 Torino 1-1 Genoa 🇮🇹
  • 🇮🇹 Verona 1-0 Cagliari 🇮🇹
  • 🇮🇹 Sasuolo 0-3 Roma 🇮🇹
  • 🇮🇹 Fiorentina 1-1 Bologna 🇮🇹
  • 🇮🇹 Lazio 2-2 Juventus 🇮🇹

Napoli Vs Inter Milan Predictions: Scott McTominay To Outshine Lautaro Martinez

Antonio Conte’s rift with Noa Lang may still be a sore subject but the 2024-25 Serie A MVP will help put those issues to bed, according to FootItalia’s AI supercomputer.

Scott McTominay – who scored a brace against PSV Eindhoven – is predicted to score twice more on Saturday. And he couldn’t have picked a bigger game to do so.

The champions are forecast to record a 2-1 victory against Inter Milan. The Nerazzurri’s goalscorer is predicted to be Argentinian superstar Lautaro Martinez.

As for Lang – who bemoaned his lack of playing time – he will feature off the bench and prove pivotal in helping the Gli Azzurri claim a priceless three points at the Maradona Stadium.

AC Milan Vs Pisa Predictions: Rafael Leao Set To Shine

After a Rafael Leao injury delayed his start to the season, the AC Milan maestro is back in form. Last week, the Portuguese forward scored both goals in the 2-1 comeback win against Fiorentina.

With Christian Pulisic ruled out, FootItalia’s AI supercomputer is strongly leaning towards Leao to do the business once again on Friday. And it’s hard to envisage any other outcome.

Not only has Leao rediscovered his scoring touch, Milan is really getting into their stride and struggling Pisa are set to succumb to a Leao brace alongside a Santiago Gimenez strike in a 3-0 loss.

Lazio Vs Juventus Predictions: Will Igor Tudor Be Sacked?

As far as Serie A predictions go, a sixth draw in eight has been forecast for Juventus. FootItalia’s AI supercomputer believes the Bianconeri and Biancocelesti will finish 2-2 at the Stadio Olimpico.

If that comes to fruition, Igor Tudor may be given his marching orders. The Croatian has endured a mountain of pressure in recent weeks having not tasted victory since the Derby d’Italia success on September 13.

The next Italy manager odds may favor Roberto Mancini to return to the Azzurri but he is also a strong candidate to replace Tudor. If he should be given the boot.

Various outlets suggest Tudor will be given more time but another slip up will be extremely hard to ignore. Especially if the players turn on him.
