A number of Serie A sides are following Valencia midfielder Yunus Musah following his excellent performances this season, with Inter the latest team to express their interest. The 19-year-old, an Arsenal Academy product, made the switch to La Liga in 2019 and has made the transition to the Valencia first team in recent years while also being called up to the US national team.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report Inter have reportedly received positive signals from the player regarding a move, despite the interest from the likes of Juventus, Milan and Barcelona.
Gazzetta suggest that the Nerazzurri have made the decision to make a bid for the youngster and the player has given his consent over a move. It’s now up to Inter whether they make the move in January or next summer.
The player is expected to cost €20m, however Relovo report that the race isn’t over yet, with Juventus having followed the player since last summer. The Bianconeri are also following his development closely and may yet make a bid of their own.
For their part, Valencia have renewed Musah’s contract until 2026 and included a €100 million release clause, anticipating a potential bidding war for the player after the World Cup.
