Gleison Bremer’s Agency Sparks Tottenham Talks

Brazilian international, Gleison Bremer, has been the latest Serie A star to be linked with a move to the Premier League, as the Juventus captain is represented by CAA Base Ltd – an agency that represents multiple Tottenham players.

The agency for professional soccer players has seen a huge rise in talent during recent seasons and currently represents five players from Spurs.

James Maddison, Pedro Porro, Richarlison, Djed Spence and Pape Matar Sarr are all under the CAA Base umbrella, highlighting the impact the soccer agency has in North London.

Interestingly, CAA Base is also present in Tottenham Hotspur’s coaching staff, as the company represents assistant manager, Matt Wells and Spurs’ former manager, Ange Postecoglou.

Agents have played a vital part in deals during recent years and are continuing to do so, as the CAA’s other entity, CAA Stellar, are currently looking to push Kobbie Mainoo into an agreement with Napoli.

The Englishman has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford for several months and CAA Stellar are looking to play a big part in Napoli’s pursuit of Kobbie Mainoo.

Tottenham could involve themselves in a similar arrangement with CAA Base by making a move for Gleison Bremer in 2026, as Spurs will part ways with Ben Davies next-year as the Welshman’s contract comes to an end.

Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven have proved to be a solid partnership in the heart of defense, but the two have struggled with injuries during their time with Spurs.

Bremer would be a major coup for the Lilywhites as the Brazilian is widely-regarded as one of the best defenders in Serie A, however Spurs will be concerned over his recent injury problems.

Gleison Bremer Injury Update

The Juventus captain has not featured for the Bianconeri since September 27th, after undergoing meniscus surgery due to a consistent issue in training.

Since the operation took place, Bremer has missed six Serie A matches and the 28-year-old was expected to be absent until the early stages of 2026.

However, recent reports have revealed that the Juventus captain could return before the turn of the year – possibly featuring in the matchday squad against Napoli on December 7th.

The Bianconeri have struggled to find form in Bremer’s absence and have even seen a change in manager, with Luciano Spalletti replacing Igor Tudor.

Accumulating 19-points from 11 matches has seen Juventus drop down to sixth in Serie A and Spalletti is expected to make some major changes in January.

Following a difficult start to the season, Juventus are preparing a move for Goncalo Ramos, as the Portuguese star looks for regular playing time ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

In order to fund a move for the PSG striker Juventus would need to offload some of their current roster, meaning Bremer’s position could be called into question after his consistent injury concerns.

If Tottenham do pursue a move for the Juventus skipper, then the Premier League side would need to spend over €50m as Bremer still has four-years remaining on his deal in Turin.
