Enzo Maresca’s Odds Of Becoming Next Manchester United Boss After Ruben Amorim Sack
The Italian coach is out of work after departing Chelsea last week.
Manchester United have confirmed the sacking of Ruben Amorim, and Enzo Maresca could replace him.

Amorim appeared to criticise the United hierarchy in the aftermath of the 1-1 draw at Leeds United on Sunday night after a fracturing in his relationship with director of football Jason Wilcox.
He has departed with the Red Devils sixth in the Premier League, and 14 months into a deal set to run until 2027.
The club’s Under-18s coach Darren Fletcher will take interim charge of the trip to Burnley on Wednesday. A permanent appointment is likely to wait until the summer, as per The Athletic.
Maresca is out of work after departing Chelsea on similarly acrimonious terms on January 1. He is unsurprisingly among the favourites for the United job, according to the bookmakers.
At the time of writing, Oddschecker have priced Crystal Palace head coach Oliver Glasner as the early favourite at 3/1. Maresca, who won the Conference League and the Club World Cup at Chelsea, is at 4/1.
Further down, former Barcelona boss Xavi is at 10/1, as is United great Laurent Blanc.
Fletcher, Amorim’s temporary replacement, is also among the favourites, while Michael Carrick and Gareth Southgate can be found at short odds.
Maresca has been linked with Juventus, so United will have to move quickly.

The club confirmed Amorim’s dismissal on Monday morning, with a statement reading: “Ruben Amorim has departed his role as Head Coach of Manchester United.
“Ruben was appointed in November 2024 and led the team to a UEFA Europa League Final in Bilbao in May.
“With Manchester United sitting sixth in the Premier League, the club’s leadership has reluctantly made the decision that it is the right time to make a change. This will give the team the best opportunity of the highest possible Premier League finish.
“The club would like to thank Ruben for his contribution to the club and wishes him well for the future. Darren Fletcher will take charge of the team against Burnley on Wednesday.”
