Como 1907 are preparing a late move for Oscar Bobb and the Manchester City star is reportedly open to a Serie A switch.

Oscar Bobb Considers Serie A Switch

Manchester City are willing to offload Oscar Bobb during the January transfer window, as the Norwegian has fallen down the pecking order under Pep Guardiola.

The 22-year-old has not made a Premier League appearance since November 22nd, missing the last 10 matches with a hamstring issue.

Bobb’s place in the Manchester City team took another hit in the January transfer window as the Cityzens signed Antoine Semenyo and the two occupy a similar position on the pitch.

This move has left Bobb questioning his future in Manchester, which has started rumors over a move elsewhere before the transfer window comes to an end.

Fulham have been heavily linked with the Manchester City youngster over a permanent deal, as the Cottagers have reportedly entered talks with Bobb to iron out the details.

However, the Premier League side could face a late battle for Bobb’s signature as Como 1907 are looking to hijack any deal in the coming days.

Cesc Fabregas has grown concerned over Inter Milan’s Nico Paz interest and the Spaniard is now searching for a potential reinforcement in attack.

Bobb is said to be targeting a permanent move away, however Como are looking to bring the Norwegian in on loan for the rest of the season which would include a buy-option.

The Serie A side may be forced into a permanent signing as Fulham are ready to submit a €35million bid and Como could be left slightly deterred as they aim for multiple signings this month.

Como Prepare Late Push In January Window

Cesc Fabregas’ side have enjoyed a strong start to the season and currently sixth in Serie A, as European qualification looks to become a reality.

Como have only lost one of their last six matches in Serie A, picking-up 16 points overall and are looking to use the January window as a chance to kick-on for the rest of the season.

The Serie A side have targeted a host of players alongside Bobb, including a move for Marc Bernal as the Barcelona star is said to have a strong relationship with Fabregas.

There have also been murmurs over Como’s interest in Franck Kessie, but the Ivory Coast international appears to have selected Juventus on his return to Serie A.

Como spent over €100m in the latest summer transfer window and this could lower their expenditure in January, but Fabregas is hopeful of adding some reinforcements before January 31st.
