Moussa Diaby has said yes to swapping Al-Ittihad for Inter this month, according to reports from Italy.

The Nerazzurri are in pursuit of wingers in the January transfer window and are working on several leads.

For instance, speculation involving Inter and Ivan Perisic has intensified in recent days.

However, a fresh lead has emerged from Fabrizio Romano, with the former Aston Villa winger now in the Inter picture.

Moussa Diaby: how much Al-Ittihad and France winger could cost Inter

Moussa Diaby has been playing for Al-Ittihad since joining from Aston Villa in the summer of 2024.

But despite his contract with the Saudi club running until 2029, it looks as though he is ready to return to Europe.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that Inter are in talks to sign Diaby in the last few days of the January window.

Furthermore, Diaby has apparently said yes to Inter, so now it’s all about the club-to-club talks.

Inter are looking to strike a deal to sign Diaby on loan with an option to buy for around €35m, added Romano.

Moussa Diaby: Why Inter want former Aston Villa star

Moussa Diaby offers pace and one-on-one threat that can change games quickly.

He is naturally left-footed, but comfortable on either wing, which suits Inter’s need for flexibility across the front line.

Diaby’s main strengths are speed, close control and dribbling, making him ideal for counter-attacks and for stretching deep defensive blocks.

His career shows he can adapt, developing at PSG, gaining senior minutes in Serie A with Crotone, then becoming a top-level performer at Bayer Leverkusen.

Diaby also shone at Aston Villa in the English Premier League, before winning the Saudi Pro League at Al-Ittihad.

Furthermore, he has won 11 caps for France, one of the strongest soccer nations in the world.

With Luis Henrique’s Inter future becoming increasingly more uncertain, it looks as though the Nerazzurri are keen on getting some new wingers on board before deadline day.
