PSG defender Abdou Diallo is now Milan’s number one target in the centre-back role, despite Japhet Tanganga having been linked previously. The Rossoneri are aiming to reinforce their defence and add cover for Pierre Kalulu and Fikayo Tomori and have been linked with a number of defenders in recent weeks.
Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio now reports that the club are shifting their attentions to Diallo, given that he can play both centrally and at left-back.
Transfer journalist Nicolo Schira reports on similar lines, but suggests that Milan are looking to sign him on loan with an option to buy, while PSG are keen for that to be an obligation. The two sides are continuing talks to find a formula that works.
Diallo has spent the last three seasons in Paris, making 75 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 champions.
