The agent of Kalidou Koulibaly has denied suggestions that the player is in talks with other clubs, insisting they are waiting to meet with Napoli. The Senegalese defender is heading into the last year of his contract in Naples and has yet to agree an extension to his deal.
Tuttosport among others has linked the 29-year-old with a move to Barcelona or Juventus this summer, as he is reportedly unhappy with Napoli’s renewal offer and ready to leave the club this summer or the next.
Speaking to Il Corriere dello Sport Fali Ramadani, the players’ agent, insists that no other talks are taking place:
At the moment, there is no negotiation with other clubs regarding Kalidou’s future; we are waiting to meet the president of Napoli, De Laurentiis, to define the best solution for the player and for the club. “
Tuttosport believe the player could be worth between €30-40 million this summer, should Napoli be fored into a sale.
