Ahead of Juventus‘ significant clash against Spezia, Allegri has confirmed that he has received a major injury boost as Angel Di Maria is back within the squad.
Since arriving from PSG on a free transfer, the Argentine has coped seamlessly within the Bianconeri as he scored a goal and provided an assist within the Old Lady’s opening 3-0 victory against Sassuolo.
However, a muscular abductor injury has kept him at bay against the likes of Sampdoria and Roma, leaving Allegri with very few options to select from.
Within today’s press conference ahead of the league fixture, Allegri has previewed the face-off between both Serie A clubs at the Allianz Stadium:
“Tomorrow it’s going to be difficult, it’s a game that must be prepared better than the one against Roma. Spezia are doing good things, they are just one point behind us, so we need the right approach from the very start. We must respect Spezia and bring three points home.
“I haven’t decided on the line-up yet. Nicolò Fagioli and Angel Di Maria are available, tomorrow I will decide. We dropped four points against Sampdoria and Roma, so tomorrow we must make up for it absolutely.”
