Allegri: ‘Verona is a team that runs and presses across the board’

Juventus boss Allegri did not undermine Verona and urged his players to remain focused within the media ahead of the match.

Following the Bianconeri’s impressive 2-0 victory over bitter-rivals Inter over the weekend, the Old Lady possess 25 points and can move two points short of second-placed Milan with a win over the Gialloblu.

Despite Verona being the worst defensive team within the league as they conceded a grand total of 26 goals in the first 14 matches of the league, Allegri shows no intentions in assuming that a Juventus victory will be an automatic outcome.

While speaking to Sky Sport Italia before the match as relayed by Calciomercato, the Tuscan tactician expressed the difficulty within this evening’s fixture at Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi:

Every year is different, even the weeks. Tonight it will be very difficult for us, Verona is a team that runs and presses across the board, it will be a good test. step by step. Tonight it would be important to come out with a positive result. “
