Juventus defender Andrea Cambiaso recently shared his thoughts on the upcoming season and his new coach, Thiago Motta, in an interview with Sky Sport from the team’s training camp in Germany. Cambiaso, who joined the squad after an extended break following his participation in the European Championship, expressed his excitement about returning to Juventus.
“I rested during these twenty days of vacation, and I am very happy to be here. It is wonderful to return to this incredible club. Physically, I feel good,” Cambiaso said.
He went on to speak highly of Thiago Motta, praising his mentality and work ethic. “I know Thiago Motta well; he has a great mentality, a great desire to work, and he is very demanding. He does very well, and we are a relatively young team, so I think he can help us a lot,” Cambiaso noted.
Regarding his role in the team, Cambiaso highlighted his versatility. “Fortunately, I am quite versatile; I can play in different positions. I have only had two days of training so far, and he is using me as a left-back, but we will see. During the season, there are many complications, injuries, and rotations,” he explained.
