Antonio Conte Set to Lead AC Milan: Agreement Reportedly Reached for Next Season

Start

In a major development for Italian football, TeleLombardia has reported that Antonio Conte has accepted the terms offered by AC Milan, securing his role as the head coach for the upcoming season.

The news comes after weeks of speculation regarding the Rossoneri’s interest in Conte’s managerial services and direct discussions with senior advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Transfer pundit Luca Momblano has now revealed that Conte, who has been on a sabbatical this season to spend time with his family, has agreed to the proposal presented by club owners Red Bird. The renowned Italian coach had turned down an approach from Napoli in October, opting for a break to focus on personal matters.

Conte’s managerial journey has been marked by successful stints at various top clubs. After mutually terminating his contract with Tottenham Hotspur in March 2023, the upcoming season will witness his return to the San Siro, where he previously achieved Scudetto glory with rivals Inter in 2021.

Before his triumph at Inter, Conte left an indelible mark on Juventus, where he served as both a player and a coach. His departure from the Turin giants led him to take charge of the Italian national team for a two-year period.
