Arsenal in talks for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen

Arsenal has emerged as the latest club to be linked with a summer move for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen. The 25-year-old has reportedly made it clear that he wishes to leave Napoli in order to make the switch to the Premier League this summer.

Chelsea had previously shown interest in signing the Nigerian superstar, but recent attention from Saudi Arabia, where Osimhen reportedly received an offer exceeding €40 million per season, appears to have dampened the Stamford Bridge club’s enthusiasm.

Reports from Il Roma (via calcionapoli24.it), Arsenal, last season’s Premier League runners-up, have contacted Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda, to explore a potential summer move to the Emirates Stadium.

Osimhen’s arrival could significantly boost Arsenal’s attacking power as they seek to build on their impressive season and compete for the Premier League title next year.

However, with a release clause of €160 million, securing the Nigerian striker would represent a substantial financial commitment for the Gunners.
