Arthur Melo to join Liverpool

Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo is set to join Premier League side Liverpool on loan for the remainder of the season. The Brazilian has failed to feature inany matches for the Bianconeri so far this season and was expected to leave the club this summer.

Sky Sport Italia, Romeo Agresti and a number of other Italian outlets now confirm that the 26-year-old is leaving Turin today to join the Reds.

Romeo Agresti reports that Arthur is set to leave by private jet before lunchtime today to undergo his Liverpool medical. Fabrizio Romano writes that the deal does not include a buy option as things stand.

Arthur spent two seasons with Juventus playing 63 games and scoring 1 goal.
