Atalanta to sign Rasmus Højlund

According to reports in Italy, Atalanta are set to sign young Danish talent Rasmus Højlund with only an official announcement pending. Despite his young age, the 19-year-old has already been likened to Erling Braut-Haaland and is tipped to be the next breakout talent in Europe.

Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Højlund has already signed a contract with La Dea and is set to be unveiled very soon.

According to Romano, Atalanta will pay Sturm Graz a hefty €17m for Højlund, who scored six goals in eight appearances for the Austrian side last season.

Højlund has made just 21 appearances for Graz over two seasons and has already found the net 12 times.
